Crossing Woon Gumpus Common and walking onto the top of the next hill one passes an ancient cromlech before entering a well preserved Iron Age hill fort, Chun Castle. Below Bosullow, an ancient village sits, with remains of domestic enclosures and field systems separated by drystone granite hedges.
